If you never bought another cigar again, how many days/weeks/months/years would you project your humidor(s) would last you?
My smoking habits are erratic. None the week before a small race, two weeks abstinence before a big race, sometimes 10 cigars between Friday night and Sunday. Sometimes zero in a week, I'm just too busy. Based on 4 cigars per week, averaged over the course of the year... I'm projecting 9 or 10 years.

At my rate of about half a cigar per week and having somewhere around 50 cigars that puts me right around the 2 year mark. I'd guess that I probably estimated a bit low on my average over the next two years so it's probably a bit less than that, so somewhere from 6 months to 2 years is probably right.

2-5 years, as long as I can keep buying pipe tobacco :encouragement:

There are times I won't smoke a cigar for months. Other times they're all I smoke in a week. Depends on my mood. I've sold off and given away so much of my stock over the past 4 years, but I'd still probably last 3-5 years with what I have.
Once my coolidor is empty I probably won't restock it. So after that I may have to start buying again lol.

Like everybody else so far, my habit is quite erratic, but I also don't know exactly how many I have, so I'm thinking 2-5 years as well. Possibly more.

My smoking may be erratic, but I got a lot of gars...
Still, I'd assume I'm still in the 5-10 year camp

3-5 years at 2-3 a week. I would get by many more years with a pipe substituted in here and there.

Around 4 a week, and with my two semi full coolers, desktop, between 2-3 years.

Bout a year, but the last month would be spent smoking crap :(

Not long.
Speaking for cigars only I could only last a couple of months.
I've been buying mostly pipe tobacco here lately so I could probably enjoy smoking one or the other for a couple of years at my current rate.

I am down to less than 40 sticks, but lately I have only been smoking one a month or so.

Yup! I have flex Fridays once a month, so two on Friday is easy. Sometimes it'll be three. Then if I'm hanging with the boys on Saturday/Sunday, four makes quick work of each day.
let me look around 60 cigars, gonna be knocking on your door in 9days,11hrs,23min...get out the coffee...

Have you ever counted them all? I mean open up every box, bag, everything and count what's in there? I have done it once and was surprised at how low the number was compared to what it looked like.

I had fully inventoried everything on a spread sheet but somehow the file disappeared within the last month. I've had a lot outgoing in the past two months and my last numbers were around 4300. The pictures don't capture the layers well...

Current rate of 1 a week it'd be somewhere in the 6 month range, tho when the weather warms up stock will deplete at a much faster rate, unless I get hooked on pipe smoking

I know exactly how many I have, and at current rate I'd fall in the 2-5 years range.
If I knew I couldn't get any more, my consumption rate would drop and I'd make them last a decade or two.

I'm in the 10+ year camp. I don't necessarily have a HUGE stock, but unfortunately smoke way too little.

this puts you as having 70 to 85 boxes of 25 in ea. in your collection now. Not too shabby.

I usually have 1 every other day and at that pace I would say 6 months to 2 years.

I figure I have about 2-5 years of cigars at current rate. I only get about 3-4 a week in most the time. But if I knew I couldn't buy another cigar EVER I would probably only smoke 2 or less a week...
Cheers

My current inventory is 121 (yes, I keep a spreadsheet). I don't want to have to buy a bigger house, so I keep my inventory modest. Plus, I've still got a kid in college :) That would last abt 6-9 months. I probably have a few years' worth of pipe tobacco in the cabinet. & enough whole leaves in my tobacco library for another year or so worth of cigars and pipe tobacco.
When this question comes up, though, I'm reminded of a BOTL co-worker who has over 3500 cigars in his stash.

I'd only last about two months. Smoking them as fast as I'm buying them.

Funny, I've actually been thinking about this lately. I went with 5-10 years, based on my current smoking habits. I always promise myself I'll smoke more and didn't want to depress myself with going >10.

Less than two years for a fellow missouri native is unacceptable. I will change this for you soon. Get a new tupperdore going :pipe:

Well I smoke one to three cigars a week in warm weather. (I smoke my pipe every day year round.)
We get about six months a year with out snow. So I smoke 25 to 75 cigars a year. I have enough cigars (at this rate) to last ten to thirty years.

Mine will last longer than I will. :D
Since I became primarily a pipe smoker,
my stash turned into a life-time supply.
My son gets whatever is left when I check out.

I've got exactly 300 sticks currently, which really appeals to my OCD. At the current rate of 1-2 sticks a week that's anywhere from 5.75 to 3 years.

8 to 9 years at average smoking rate of 3 per week. Right now smoking way less because of winter. But as soon as nice weather returns, hopefully my consumption rate returns back to form.

4-5 years based on the current size of my collection and the average rate that I smoke (2 per week).
