How are the Pardo travel humidors, especially in terms of air tightness and durability?

They get good reviews on Amazon, but I'm always skeptical of possible fake reviews by a company or Amazon.

Looking at the 15 to 20 cigar case here:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GC6XYW4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2TH2CMUV11AV3&psc=1

Thanks,
Sean

Any of those plastic humidors are good on holding humidity. Now I do not know if I would use it for long term storage. I suspect my 50ct was used for long term storage because I saw some mold in a few places. I cleaned it out with rubbing alcohol for several rounds until I knew it was safe to use.

Yeah, its definitely for short term travel and/or trips. No long term storage. I'm well set up in that department.

The it should work fine but I find the 15 can be too big if not more than 10 cigars. Not saying you should do what i have but I have a 5ct 10ct 15ct and 50ct I am good for a weekend or a month long trip.

Sometimes you can get some of these as freebies on some sites. Or small upcharge to add on

Happen to recall any sites that may have them as freebies or even just cheaper than Amazon?

I do get free 2 day shipping with prime which helps.

Here is an idea with a quick search but I have seen them where it's not much more than the 5 or 10 pack with the humidor included but I have enough travel storage

Think I'm going with the Pardo as its the cheapest for that capacity, largest for the price at 9.5x8x4, is the same as the more expensive ones aside from coming with stands, cutters, punch, etc which i already have, and is a known name to me.

Let us know what you think of it and how it performs. I have used Xikar and freebie ones that I have no idea who makes. Only had the gasket one fail but otherwise all seem good for short term storage.

All are basically the same with only different sizes and brands and i really don't need anything fancy or with extra accessories thrown in since i have all that stuff already.

The more expensive ones really don't seem any different, other than most of them are actually smaller than the Pardo, so i really think it will suit my needs just fine, especially with a boveda thrown in it.

Will definitely update how it seems when I get it, and test it out with a Boveda and my Boveda Butler to measure and see how it seals.

Doubling up on getting my first Pardo products. Both seem perfect for my needs, so we'll see how they perform in real life when I get them.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20221224/294622576d321aa999bdf00448bcb57e.jpg

I’ve used a plastic ammo can. They have a seal and are water tight. Can fit about 20-30 cigars. You can get them for about $12 or less, sometimes free with ammo purchase.

I feel its mostly aesthetic difference unless the plastic is too thin but all mine are gifts or swag bonuses so I never really shopped for one. So I would be interested in your thoughts once you get to give it a go.

MTM AC30T Ammo Can 30-Caliber Military Style https://a.co/d/cqQbE1UDoes it have foam inside so they aren't just rattling around?

Looking at the inside dimensions, its nor really much bigger than the pardo i ordered except 2" in Length. If they have padding, thats definitely a good deal

Here is an idea with a quick search but I have seen them where it's not much more than the 5 or 10 pack with the humidor included but I have enough travel storageActually stumbled across the exact same one on CI for $45, plus my 10% discount and free shipping for being a Veteran, so picking one up along with a fiver of Obsidian Toros since i have a gift card with just the perfect amount, so I'll have a nice little 5 toro case (my preferred vitola fortunately) plus a backup quad torch lighter to go with the Vertigo Hornet i just ordered, as they are cheap, but I've had awesome luck with their Cyclone triple torches, so assuming the Hornet will will serve me well and last forever since I only use good butane.
I have 3 that I've had for 4 years now and they work perfectly still and not a hint of buildup/residue on the burners or sparker from Neon 11X fuel which may very really cheap, but its also very clean.

Thanks for the tip. Very excited to get five new Southern Draw Toros to try out the marca more, plus a nice looking case and free backup quad torch lighter. Cant beat it.

So I would be interested in your thoughts once you get to give it a go.Honestly, after a full day of reading and researching, they are all the same with only different capacities, different measurements and different brands, and some come with a cutter, stand, nubber, etc little stuff i dont need.

The Pardo is the largest dimensions and the cheapest, so I pulled the trigger.

Will update with test results on the 4 in 1 tool and the case with a 65% Boveda and my Boveda Butler in it for 2 or 3 days and see how it holds the rh.

No paddingFigured not due to its intended use.
Don't your cigars bounce around and get damaged in it?

Also getting this later this week, to have a 5ct in my arsenal, and because I have really been wanting to explore more Southern Draw offerings as they seem quite popular.

With the toros, case, and lighter, i think its a really good deal at $45, not counting my 10% discount and free shipping for being a Veteran.
