Been meaning to be on here more often, but alas, the dreaded virus finally got me at the beginning of the month. Just recovered a couple of days ago. What a disaster. I can definitely see how it could be worse for someone who may otherwise not be as healthy.

I had it about 6 weeks ago and it was an ass kicker. It took me about 18 days before I was close to fully recovered.

I haven't been on here a whole lot lately so I'm late but glad you recovered.
I had a bout with it around Christmas and I was lucky. Felt like a bad cold for 3 or 4 days, and then extremely exhausted for a couple weeks after.

I had a bit of a cold and cough after getting a fever, but yes I was exhausted also. Slept almost 18 hours a day for the first few days.
