1. The 2022 month of June is dedicated to a community-wide smoking-togetherness of Tatuaje, L'Atelier, and Surrogates.

2. If you're smoking anything from these three brands and would like to share here - please do!

3. There's a Challenge/Contest called the 30/30 that's running along with the Monthlong.

3a. Smoke 30 cigars within the three brands during the 30 days of June...YOU WIN!...(a virtual pat on the back...and MAYBE!...just MAYBE!something else...I dunno yet...BUT YOU WIN!)

3b. Cigars can be the same exact cigars, or totally different (i.e. smoke 30 Tatuaje Pumpkins - YOU WIN!)...IT DOESN'T MATTER!!!

3c. Contest info is in the Contest Thread.

4. Please ask for more info!

So after seeing WNYTONY showing us his stash, I thought I'd try to lay out my 30...

I'm already at 35 with no repeats and I've ready done things like "oh crap, I don't have any monsters" so I shuffled some in/out - lol. Even the CRA coffin has two different cigars upon closer inspection- one band golden one silver and different wrappers.

Tatuaje Bride of Mardi Gras in honor of @RenoH414 (https://www.cigarbum.com/forum/members/renoh414.html) . Unfortunately I joined the Bum very shortly before he passed. Even so, he was able to pass on some Tat knowledge to me (he actually brought up the T110s!). He seemed like true Bum material- friendly and willing to help out a newbie. Its a bummer I didnt get to know him better… rest in peace Reno.

In memory of RenoH414 . I didn't know Reno well, but he seemed like the kind if guy who I wish I did know well. Very first interaction with him, I believe, was on the Tat Whore thread he created, and we had some exchanges about these T110s. He was the first to express interest in making Tatuaje the 2022 Monthlong brand, and I'm glad he got that wish. RIP, Reno.

Tatuaje Habano Cohetes to start things off. RenoH414 sent me a few of these to try when they had been long gone from production and got me hooked on them. When they were re-released a little bit ago I grabbed up a bunch of all 3, the Habano, Sumatra and Broadleaf but this was the one that got me into them. Great size and awesome smoke. Although I didn't have any Tats left that Reno had sent me I thought it was a fitting tribute to pull one of these u=out tonight. Rest in peace my friend.

Smoke a Tat and A Lat, so now comes a Gat - AKC Surrogates.

Story goes its named after Dan Welsh's Dog and made as a limited release which is a bit of a Surrogates Oxymoron.

I know a couple others picked some of these up and I'll pre-warn you this thing is a powerful pepper bomb (at least to start). By 100% chance (or dumb luck), I'm pairing it with Laphroaig Islay scotch. It's like a pepper neutralizer that releases some other flavors of the cigar.

Really enjoyed it. Honestly was surprised on what I got from it as it has probably been over a year since I've had this one. I've got the Lancero to smoke and I'm looking forward to it as I've only smoked the Black in the Petite Robusto vitola.

No need to risk complications with the anesthesia. So my total ends at 5. It was fun and i will continue to follow this thread to see what all u Bums are smokin!

Oh no!!!! Good luck with the surgery. As the daughter of a nurse who spent 20 years in pre op testing… thank you for actually following the doctor’s recommendation! My mom used to complain about that all the time. So high five for you!

Tasted good normally, and maybe it just needed more rest, but there seemed more to it and definitely more ligeroish power when I was making it burn a bit hotter. To me, and I've only had one (Toro), it was much better when it burned hotter or when I did like a double draw. Tasted good normally, and maybe it just needed more rest, but there seemed more to it and definitely more ligeroish power when I was making it burn a bit hotter. Never any sourness or symptoms of it being too hot.I just never liked this blend. In thought maybe it was the lancero, then I tried a toro, and now the robusto, and still not really for me. It has too much smokiness (fire cured tobaccoish) like the CAO Italia or the Kentucky fire cured from DE. It might not have any fire cured leafs in there, but it tastes like it to me.

Thoughts?

I was disappointed. Wasn't bad, just blandish. It says it's an oscuro, and I didn't really get any oscuro flavors. That's interesting - I was wowed by mine and then disappointed by the Animal Cracker - it had burn issues and the wrapper cracked and unraveled.
