Greetings from the Great White North! My name is Mitch, and I am a cigar lover living in the Greater Toronto Area. I started smoking cigars as a soldier back in the mid-1990s, and I have grown to love them as not only one of the finer pleasures in life, but also an agent that brings new friends together, and the glue that keeps them friends.

With 30+ trips to Cuba one would think that I was a Habanos snob, but that is far from the truth. Yes, I love my Havana cigars, but my humidor usually has a good selection of both Nicaraguan and Dominican cigars as well. I happen to be much more knowledgeable about Cubans than the rest, but I still smoke a variety from all over. On any given day you might find me smoking a H Upmann... or a Davidoff or Oliva.

I run a Facebook cigar page, but my intentions in joining here is not to poach members; rather it is to expand my network beyond Facebook, as I hope one day to cut my FB time significantly. In the meantime, I look forward to lighting up with all of you!
