Smoked the Ligero L-300 Cabinet the other day...and WOW!, what a smoke! It's been on my mind quite a bit since then, and may very well be the best cigar I've smoked in a while. This cigar made me want to fully commit to smoking through their lineup, especially during my lounge visits during the cold weather season.

Honestly, it may have been my first LFD I've smoked as I cannot remember smoking anything from this brand. And, honesty, until now, I've been hesistant about the brand since I've heard meh things about LFDs outside the forum. Wasn't until recently that the Bum seems to praise them, and I've kinda held on to my stigma since then since I didn't see many LFDs over in the current smokes threads or hear them discussed.

Seen them in every shop, so I know the brand, and I know there's a huge catalog between LFD and Litto Gomez .

I'd like to hear any favorites, top 10s or whatever, disappointments, thoughts on the Ligero line, or anything you'd like to add.
Nature I tried editting the post title to capitalize the letters, but no luck. Can you make the edit for me?

Cant recall which one's I've had, but have had a handful and all were good, solid smokes.i think most i had were the Ligeros though.

Never had a bad one by any means. I suspect that you will enjoy any of them you try

Eta:will look up which ones I have had in my inventory app when I get back to my room where my phone is and let you know.

Ok, I've had the 2000 no.3, Ligero L-Granu, Ligero L250, and TCFKA M Collectors Edition 2014

I friggin' LOVE cigars

Pretty much same here! Have not tried any yet but I do have a 1 of their main line sticks as well as some Andalusian Bulls. Fox actually just sent an email today about an LFD sampler for like $36- even more tempting now!!

LFD are good solid smokes. Never been let down by any. You normally don't see them on sale. There is also not alot of hype on them. I have had several Air Benders the ligeros 1994 and Colorado. I have not had the Nox yet or my Bull. Now not sure the LG Small Batches are worth the price but was still enjoyable.

I like the vitola of the 250 after researching the Ligero line, but the B&M on has the 300. The 200 sounds like a nice little size, too. Loved the 300, but it's a bit long, but seemed to smoke faster than normal which was nice.

Since my memory is fried I really need to get back into the habit of adding notes in my inventory app for the cigars i smoke like I used to do religiously but somehow fell out of the habit over the years and keep forgetting to do it again.

Was always a very helpful reference.

What's your thoughts on the Chisel vitola vs regular vitolas of the Air Bender?

Probably gonna avoid the Chisels for a while. The draw is way too loose for my liking; and it seems underfilled, especially toward the cap end.

I have had 3-4 chisels. I like the shape and pretty sure I even tried a v cut on the chisels. I do not recall any negative on reg LFD line. The LG small batch are good but huge looking back i think I had the #4 7×52 really good smoke but big and where I bought it from I probably was over charged.

I find it funny you mention this now I almost bought some chisels this week. Found a decent deal but just didn't need to play more tetris.

The Air Bender Natural Chisel was a very good smoke - tastewise. I see a couple vitolas outside the Chisel that I like - Matatan and Ponderso - that I should be able to try over at another B&M.

It may have just been this one Chisel, but it's tobacco-fill seemed to be the problem. Poor burn and smoke draw, yet very open draw. You could see good size gaps on the cap end and it was pretty spongy. Will need to keep the sponginess in mind on my next Chisel purchase. Haven't had a cigar act this bad in a very long time, so I'm a bit skeptical - but this is my first Chisel.

Title changed.

I like the LFDs.
1994 are good.
I really like the La Nox. A tasty, smaller cigar.
Like Josh said, there isn’t a lot of hype around them. I think the Andalusian Bull has had the most.

I have purchased some LG Small Batch, several years ago and they were excellent, but not sure if worth the hefty price tag. But then again, so are many limited release AF, where I think the price is more hype driven. The LG small batch are probably just as rare, if not more so, but you don’t have everyone chasing them down.

I don’t see a lot of LFD around. I know a couple local B&M carry them. One used to have a LFD lounge where they were the flagship cigar. It, unfortunately closed due to a mostly bad location.

Was that the location that carried the LFD college world series cigar?

How'd that Double treat ya?

What's been your experience with the Chisels?

I love me some LFD. Probably 3rd favorite brand might be higher but local B&M rarely had them. Chisels are good but I am not real picky on size and shape. Honestly find the Andelusian Bull and the La volcada to be average compared to the rest of their line. Chaper 1 might be my favorite but I really enjoy the full lineup. I did not read this thread till today. Lfd tends to be strong and full flavored. Grab yourself a Digger and enjoy. NAS is boarderline a joke cigar. I enjoy them but not many people put them in regular rotation.

It was very good.
Odd I know, but I got a flavor hit of Diet Dr Pepper, without the sweetness. I know there is probably a better description, but that is what came to me. Burn and smoke was excellent.

8.5×60 is a BEHEMOTH! Might have to save that one for an Orgy or summertime V-Herf stick with you coaching and inspiring me along.

Looked up the NAS before you posted this. Might need you in a similar capacity as a midwife to get me through that badboy. But I would give it a shot before the Digger.

It small but packs a punch. I have seen both take out seasoned smokers. LFD is a line I think it worth trying. Not the classic Domician flavor profile.

La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Chiselito

My first chisel.

Very tasty and surprisingly good smoke volume for the shape of the head and small opening.

Perfect draw,burn and construction

Lasted 45 minutes which surprised me a little.

Definitely a unique head shape and overall a great little smoke

Wow - 45 mins?! Good to hear a good review on a Chisel. Will definitely need to return and keep your time in mind. Pretty sure I was taking too much time in between puffs with the Air Bender. The L-300 Cabinet did want to be smoked quicker than normal - maybe it's an LFD trait?
