This is my 300 count Treasure Dome humidor. Purchased from CI 5 or 6 years ago. Reality is with humidification devices it only holds 175 Cigars. It is not as organized as I'd like but I wanted to post a "real" image of it rather than the "perfect" image. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220124/7f067d677108a51be1315ff0306486bd.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220124/38323e51b7ea93e052223385dc7ccc12.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220124/a6b39f22e1e49d6c6b9f323430d999cf.jpg

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI actually use boveda packs mixed in between layers of cigars. I have much more humidification devices than I need for that size humidor. I just added the "pie jar" pieces in after my last purchase. Picked up two of them for $1.50 each at the devil. I love the two way humidification devices because I don't feel that you can overdo it. They give me peace of mind that my sticks are happy.

I had it mostly full of cedar pieces to keep the humidity easier prior to that haul. Only had 50 or so sticks in it.

I think I may have this somewhere on here but if your asking I run 2 humidors the first is what got me started my wife gave it to me. Went unused for a few years but now it holds certain cigars.

Then these are not too recent as there have been a few newer arrivals that these pics may leave out.

Top 2 drawers are mostly bombs.

Sent from my SM-N950U using TapatalkNot too shabby.
I quit using wooden humidors a couple years ago. Not airtight enough to easily hold a stable, preferred rh. Had to use 72% Bovedas in mine to maintain 65%, and they dried out fairly quickly and aren't terribly cheap to keep replacing.

Everything is in airtight tupperdors now with plump, 2 year old Bovedas and hold completely steady rh.

What are the two wrapped in white paper? Only ever seen it with Fonseca, and they don't look like yours.

4 large, 3 medium, one small tupperdors and 2 74qt airtight containers for boxes

Works great and easy to organize how I want

Thanks for sharing your setup!!

Those are both 2015 Liberty Series (coffin cigars). I got them a few years back and have been keeping them and the coffins they came in well hydrated. Not sure if I'll ever smoke them or just hold onto them as novelties. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220124/ae5b5b56153a7cd9c7e29377fa6ae7f6.jpg

Dont believe that I have seen or heard of them before. I like Churchills, but 60rg is too fat for my liking. Prefer 54rg at the most, and preferably 50 to 52.

Somewhat recently got 2 70rg smokes in a bomb. Massive suckers. Was amazed my cutter was big enough for them. Great for smoke volume and draw, but just way to fat for me.

Still interesting to try once though.

Not nearly as classy as a humidor, but cheap and completely airtight with the rubber gaskets on the lids.

Have had the same Bovedas in them for close to 2 years now, and they are as plump as the day I first put them in.

I dont even bother with hygrometers anymore.

Definitely make excellent setups. Plus I can fit a bunch on my desk so i can organize my cigars in my preferred way easily and always know where specific things are without even needing to look it up in my inventory app often.

I love the organization ability with your setup. Very nice. I'm just afraid to make the switch because your setup is so easily expanded. That combined with my auction site, umm habit, could be very dangerous.

I'm in the process of moving from one gigantic tuppie, one "10 ct" traveldor (can hold about 20 with inserts out) and a "40 ct" traveldor (had probably 75+ in there at one time with the inserts removed) to a collection like jrfoxx . One only for Bum sticks from MAWs, bombs, etc.; one for fancy sticks; and one for inexpensive everyday and tosser sticks. Did get the Bum sticks in a new tuppie, but may need another.

The big tuppie I had is in need of tossing. All the lid-snaps have fallen off - the small plastic rods that rotate and secure the snaps to the bin have broken off; and all about at the same time.

Was wanting to move to multiple smaller tuppies, so the timing is perfect.

You hit the nail on the head with the word "needs". The only space I have where I can store something like a wineador would need full temperature controls. Heat in the winter because I am not going to pay to keep my basement at 65 or 70 degrees all winter. Hell my main floor living areas we fluctuate the heat between 60 overnight and 67 during the day in the winter. I can live with that temp fluctuation with my current wooden humidor. No space for anything larger (without it costing me half of my belongings) on the main level and I don't like the idea of my sticks sitting at 52 to 57 degrees all winter.

That looks nearly identical to the 170 bottle N-finity unit I bought 5-6 years ago at a yard sale. I am extremely happy with it. The 14 shelves are not made of Spanish cedar so I keep my cigars in cigar boxes and also have 1 4" deep Spanish cedar slotted tray that holds CC's and some gifted cigars. I maintain Rh with 8 lbs of unscented silica kitty litter scattered about in aquarium bags and in cookie sheets. Zero mess. They work exactly like Heartfelt beads without the cost. 8 lbs was less than $10 and I have been using them since I bought the unit. If Rh drops a little, a few sprays of distilled water on the silica crystals and it is exactly where I want it. I probably have to spritz them twice a year and it takes maybe 2-3 minutes. I don't use the cooling since we keep our home pretty consistent year round (70-72f) and have had zero issues. Rh is maintained 62-65rh.

I would post a pic, but I'm too stoopid to figure it out. :)

You can get them on Amazon, sometimes on sale for 50% off, or from The Container Store, which has every size available, including large ones like my 2 74qts by Iris. Again, gasket on the lid, 6 tight clamping, sturdy clips, and will hold several hundred cigars in boxes easily.

Target actually sells them a little cheaper. That's where my sister got mine for Christmas.

Having a bunch if you are anal about wanting to separate them in a particular manner like you mentioned is very nice.

Heres how mine are divided up:
Any of them with 2 different categories in them are separated by cedar dividers saved from boxes they came inhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220125/e8bb36772b70abaaaa289d2042948763.jpg

Well just a thought but something built to keep cold in would probably help the temps stability issue. You could test this with a small cooler and a hygrometer that tracks highs and lows of temp

After a while you will have enough daily smokes then you can buy the more celebratory sticks later. It all comes down to budget storage and how frequently you smoke. If you have enough daily smokes stored up then you can buy a few more expensive sticks every once in a while and have a place to store them. If storage is tight it hard to justify that space for that price.

There is kind of a basic philosophy for any humidor. In time its too small.

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkNice.

Love the sistema tupperdors. Solid built and completely airtight.

And they do hold close to 100 loose sticks, so very nice if you have a lot of loose ones.

Beautiful wooden humidor. I really would love to keep everything in nice, wooden humidors as they look so nice, and have a very classy look.

Unfortunately, none I have ever had sealed well at all, so they got retired.

Had to use 72%Bovedas to maintain 65% rh, and they had to be replaced every 2 to 3 months.

Tupperdors aren't as nice looking, but have proven to make for excellent performance, so have to sacrifice the looks.

There is kind of a basic philosophy for any humidor. In time its too small.

I speak from my experience. There have been times i have had little to no buying for 1 reason or another. Even with my daughter I won't let my cigars affect the household budget. I have a cigar fund when someone gives me money for birthday or whatnot that goes in my cigar fund. Its not exorbitant but healthy especially when you add in my limited purchases. If I smoked more I would have to limit certain purchases. But you are right smoke what you like.

I am also not trying to tell anyone how to do anything just giving my perspective.

I 100% agree. I love my "BBS" (Budget Buy Sticks) favorites that I have found. They are great for daily smoking and then like you said, I sprinkle in some "special occasions" with the BBS. It is storage space that I think will inhibit me from being able to take advantage of box buy pricing when the budget is there for it at any given time.

(I was going to say "Budget Buy Cigars" until I realized all of the jokes that could go along with the associated acronym and figured it would be smarter to go with "Budget Buy Sticks".)

Or is it winedor timeBelieve me, I have thought about it! Been keeping an eye on a few reseller sites - Mercari, OfferUp, CL and even Poshmark.

Don't have FB, but do have Nextdoor - mostly a neighborhood drama and gossip app, but there can be some very good intel in there at times from your immediate community on crime - especially ongoing crime. Anyways, there's a "for sell" feature on there too I check out.

Only seen the ones with temp control. I want the whole she-bang - temp and humidity control.

Yes, that is a humidor in my winedor.
Mostly AF and a few other “finer” cigars

I recently had to expand into a 34 quart tote.
Mostly boxes, some packs, and several other loose cigars.

I found them on Targets website for under $28. Thanks!!

Wondering if anyone has suggestions for a small heating device and thermostat combo that would work in a coolidor/winador/fridgador environment?

I am considering a terranium heatpad/thermometer combo.

Curious, Why heating?

A small terrarium or a seedling starter heat mat would probably work. In an enclosed space, it wouldn’t need to be very big. I would still worry about overheating.
My setups are in the basement.
Temp ranges 55-62 in winter and up to about 64-68 in summer.

Need to mention for anyone considering one of the big Iris containers I have, you will absolutely need to leave the cover off for a good week to permanently get rid of the plastic odor from the out gassing of whatever plastic they are made of.

Definitely don't want your cigars picking up a plastic taste.

Mine have had no more odor after letting them air out a week though

I friggin' LOVE cigars

Finally got around to finish up my tuppie replacement.

Originally had one giant bin that held 95-99% of my sticks. It was a PITA trying to find something, then finding that something, and repeating...for every smoke

Right side tuppie is my good sticks I've bought, with a few gifted from friends - my Bueno Bin.

Top left is my Bum Bin - sticks from Secret Santa, MAWs, bombs, trades and "trades".

Bottom left are my cheapie tossers - my Bid Bin.
