They are a joke. No confidence in their ranking system.

Why so many Churchills i think most of us don't have the time for those. Most cigar smokers i have known prefer corona size

Ryan, it nearly always seems like a contest on who has spent the most advertising dollars with CA. Granted the Padron 64 is a good cigar, but was it the best in 2021? I highly doubt it.

Contest or bribe? And is a happy ending any better than any other size. Did they try the other sizes?

Which ever it is, I'm sure there is a financial benefit realized by being named #1 of the year. Even if the cigar has been around for a long time.

The cigars are by no means Dogrockets but I feel like their scope does not properly represent the Cigar market. I would also like a Habano and non Habano list.

What about the "Best Buys List"?

Anybody had these Nat Cicco's? And they're saying two different vitolas topped one of my personal all time faves - the Padron Londres? I don't like being suckered.

Another thing I thought of before going to bed. For anyone who hasn't there is a contest on CA to win 1 of 3 boxes of the cigar of the year. Maybe Fuente got screwed because they didn't have 3 boxes if happy endings to donate.

CA's rankings have always seemed to be based on advertising dollars and this ranking just reinforces that

With You 100 percent on the Habano and Non Habano lists. Mixed it's too much of an Apples and Onions kind of thing.
Have not seen the list, but there must be some degree of a financial advertising $ angle in the selections.

I don't put much stock in the list either, but do use it as a starting point to read reviews on forums, since they carry the most weight with me compared to any online reviews other than forums
I do the same with rankings in the magazine.
This method has worked pretty well for me most of the time
