How dedicated a cigar smoker are you?

Currently 25 degrees out, only smoking areas are outside in all glass enclosed areas with no heat.

Would you still smoke a cigar in those conditions?

Depends on how comfortable you are. Bad conditions will ruin a good smoke. Bundled up enough no wind maybe gloves or hand warmers i could possibly fit a smoke in.

Once you feel the chill the smoke becomes considerably less enjoyable.

Tombstone I think Ryan will smoke in any weatherThe glass enclosures do block the constant Wyoming wind, and growing up and living in Michigan 27 years, plus living in several northern states I do know how to dress for the cold pretty well.

I do plan to smoke a quicker one, an RyJ Mille Fluers. I'm well stocked on PC's and similar size smokes for the particularly cold days.

Single digits is starting to get a bit cold for me. Not wind chill the real shit. But yeah it takes some extreme weather to turn me off. If its not so nice thats just cheapie time.

I have Under Armor, a sweatshirt, army winter coat liner, thick hoodie and nice Colombia ski jacket, so I can stay comfortable until below zero.

I do switch to smoking PC's and similar size smokes when its below freezing though.

I'm pretty die hard and willing to be cold to have a cigar

A good cigar makes it worth while.

A good cigar makes it worth while.Yup.

I was under dressed sunday for a Zoom Herf and froze my arse off for an hour, but it was worth it to see some members faces and names instead of just reading their posts and knowing forum handles, while smoking a nice SCdLH Prado, so it was definitely worth it

I don't smoke just because I need to. I enjoy the experience so I take my sweet time irrelevant of cigar size. I cannot do anything under 50 outside. I love the heat, hence why I set up my garage with heaters and the TV. Staying nice and warm for a long period of time. Before the garage I would go a couple of months without have a stick.

Hats off to you extreme weather smokers!! [emoji1433]
I'm a wuss!!!!
If it's too cold out, I'm not smoking outside.
If it's too hot, I'm not smoking outside!
In extreme weather I need to go to a lounge, or I'm not smoking.

Sent from my SM-G973U using TapatalkI too smoke for the taste and relaxation of it. A PC like the Mille Fluers took me about 45 minutes. Most vitolas of any size always last right around 1 hour, give or take 15 minutes. Doesn't matter if its a PC or double Corona, always lasts about the same time for me.

I'm willing to be a little chilly to enjoy a smoke. I know how to dress for cold weather and have the right clothes to do it, so until it gets below zero I'm pretty warm still as long as I made sure to check the temperature and dress accordingly.

Sometimes I forget and end up freezing though, but still a good cigar is worth it.

I was dedicated enough to build a smoking room like the legendary WNYTONY

I only smoke 2-3 cigars a month on average and I smoke in the house. Usually in my music/old man room. But if I was restricted to outdoor smoking, 30f is about as bad as I am willing to suffer. A pop up blind set up out of the wind with a chair and a Mr Heater would work in a pinch. Works great when deer hunting, even in miserable weather.

I don't know how you outside guys do it. into the 40's and I'm not enjoying it, although I have no outside setup or heaters or anything.
I prefer to be outside smoking, on the golf course ! But I just can't sit out by myself in cold weather and have a cigar and enjoy it.
Luckily, I have a very understanding wife and was able to convert my office / man cave into a smoking room.
As long as I'm contained to one room and don't stink up the house it's all good. And it allows me to smoke daily...

So I guess I'm not very dedicated when it comes to the cold, but I was dedicated enough to solve that problem !

In my younger days I didn't care, above 32 and I was bundled up outside on the porch. Slowly that went from 32 to 45, to now 50 lol. However since I can't smoke in the house I invested in one of those outdoor propane tower heaters, game changer. It's been below freezing and I can have a nice sized cigar in peace while staying warm.

Plenty of cold weather here in the North East Penciltucky, so the garage with two heaters works or the enclosed back porch that's insulated with heat is my go to. Just crack the windows dear!! Okay honey, beer me please!!
