Been looking for a nice single jetn and Colibri has been on the list of alternatives to Xikar. Stopped in Emerson's for a quick look at single jets, and to my surprise - all Colibris were 30% off. Told the shopkeep to wrap it up.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210606/9002b9ef6312b12fdfd592dd67c50053.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210606/0287b49637161e2d49d34746cdfbc4b7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210606/4fc2853f9892252c7d20a19a22ef17bb.jpg

Hopefully it performs just as good as it looks.
Sadly I can't use a jet/torch lighter here as they don't allow me to have a can of butane in my room.
Had a cheap Vertigo triple flame that performed great. Kinda sucks having to use a regular soft flame bic lighter
Used to have a really nice xikar but its somewhere in my storage unit 6 hours away. Plus I couldn't use it here anyway.
Too bad as it was a great lighter.
Colibri is also supposed to be top notch from what I have read

Yeah, that does suck not being able to have a butane can.
Read that Bics can potentially impart bad tastes. What's your take? I've used Jeep lighters with no issue, but not sure how they stand against Bic.

I've used bics, matches, cedar matches, cedar strips and torches and have never tasted a difference with any of them.
Only a zippo would be a problem due to the strong smell of the fluid. Definitely wouldn't use one

Don't see the Jeep lighter mentioned often, like them a lot, work nicely one hit to light a cigar, easy refill. Like 'em more than Bics, Ronsons, also thy're light weight and not bulky.

Only have ever used (as far as lighters go), a xikar (can't recall which exact one), my Vertigo triple flame jet lighters and now only a bic.
Bic works, there just can't be any wind, and its harder to get a good, even light.
I commonly have to correct the burn early on due to not getting evenly lit with a bic
