Looking around for something else, I stumbled upon my old pipe stash from 2 or 3 decades ago. In a dusty 30 cal ammo can was about half a pound of some b&m house aromatic, pouches of Middleton's apple and Cpt Black White, a tiny cob that I don't remember acquiring, a little Dr. Grabow that I thought I'd lost, couple packs of Swisher Sweet Kings, and some more miscellaneous aro samples and a pack of pipe cleaners :) Smoking that crap it's no wonder I gave it up for 15 / 20 years. Who knew?

Anyway, I salvaged the Dr. G and the cleaners and hove the rest of it into the wood stove. Yanked the stinger out of the Grabow and plan to clean it up a bit and see how it smokes. Maybe I'll post a pic once it's wiped off a bit. I figure it's a discontinued model. I haven't seen one like it in years.

restomod it's kinda like this but a smooth. I think it even said 'bucko' on it. I'll get it cleaned up a bit and take a pic.

Nice! I have a few Kaywoodies that look exactly like that, the Grabows I have are mostly the very colorful ones in the Duke line. Glad you found it though.

There she is. It is a 'Bucko' series.
Sort of a short cutty shape in a pocket pipe. The wood is in good condition, although the finish has suffered a bit.
She's still smokable IMO but it will take a while to get rid of this aro ghost.

Great find and sweet little pipe!

I bet the wood stove smelled good for a bit...?

It probably made the yard smell great. Unless the burning plastic bags befouled the aroma that is. Probably should have gone outside and checked but I didn't. I was just happy to re-discover this little pipe
