1/2
The forefront and highlight of this stick made me think of a punch bowl kinda punch juice. Very juicy. Very tasty. Like the punch bowl, there's probably more than one juice, and that applies here - it's a pretty complex taste. I didn't think too much or try to discern much, because it was just very enjoyable and I was wow'd by this flavor/taste/whatever.
The maduro is there, but it's more in the background, and just nicely rounds out the punch with a nice dark element. Not heavy - just a nice touch.
2/2:
The punchy taste becomes more dark and less sweet. I believe the maduro shining more here, but it's still not heavy - just more present.
Judgement:
Superb stick. Lot's of outstanding flavor. For $13, this is very much worth it. Loved the size, and I'll stick with the 46 if I can. Highly recommended.7752

46 is easier to find. The htf size is the shark. Some people jack their prices up on them. Hard to find for msrp.

I love Anejos! My favorite Anejo vitolas are the 46, 77(Shark) and the new 888. And age only makes them better. The first Anejo I ever smoked was a 6 year old Shark and I was addicted.

Yes! The Anejos are awesome especially with age I love the 46 and 888 as well. The sharks are good but so hard to find at not a crazy price.

Is it just the vitola that makes the Shark a better smoke?

I don't think it is actually 'a better smoke'. It's a somewhat unique shape and it's harder to find. In the cigar world that's all it takes to make it 'better' amirite? That and it has the 'lookit meeee' factor going for it since most cigar aficionados will recognize a Shark. For some reason that really appeals to some people - especially the blowhard types :p I'm plenty happy with the 46. I generally like smaller rg anyway. Wish they made it in a lance.

I don’t know that I necessarily think it’s better than the 46 or the 888, it’s close to me. What might make it better is the larger ring gauge you some more leaf to play with and use but the pyramid shape gives that intense draw. Just guessing.

I can't say they are better, just unique. My favorite Anejo seems to always be the one I am smoking at the time.

As others have said better idk harder to find absolutely. Its a shape thing and anything limited or rare drives the price up and gives you something to hunt for.

I may be wrong and someone can correct me, but I believe only 1 person rolls Sharks (Anejo & Opus) at Fuente. Which is pretty cool. And I'm wanting to say it is a woman?
