I wondered if anyone else had the same experience with this new offering. Picked up a fiver on the Devil Site and have smoked four of the five. Horrible draw on every one. I know enough not to draw conclusions off one cigar, but all four so far have been consistent, and not in a good way. Did I just get a roller's bad day?

Dennis, any idea what the RH is on your Monte's? I haven't smoked any of the ones you are asking about, but have smoked several Monte's and don't think I have ever had draw problems.

Never had one, but I know those Media Noche use darker, thicker wrappers. Probably a good idea to dry-box or store at a little lower RH than normal. I do the same with Nica Rustica, which also has a thicker CT broadleaf wrapper, and can suffer from burn/draw issues.

I've only had two, but both blew me away with flavor! No draw issues here.

Are you cutting or punching?

I've been a big fan of this stick for a while, but since they went out of stock and came back with the new branding the flavor and performance have been inconsistent.

^True enough ^

But the original release was very enjoyable.

These have been at somewhere between 63 and 66.
