Road trip to see Nature

I am driving to Omaha Friday morning to sit with 2 of my grandkids while my middle son and DIL go on vacation to the Florida Keys to celebrate their 10th Anniversary. I let Mark aka Nature that I was coming and we are getting together Monday while the kids are in school. I am really looking forward to meeting up, enjoying a cigar together plus I can bomb him face to face.

I had the extreme pleasure of meeting up with @Old Smokey (https://www.cigarbum.com/forum/members/old-smokey.html) today. Contrary to his reputation, he was nothing but a gentleman.
He didn't even complain too much when I gave him much more than he bargained for.

We weren't in the car for a few minutes on the way to the lounge when he laid this magnificent hand delivered bomb on me. I was driving and couldn't even respond properly at the time.
I had my own hand package to deliver... ;)

Looked god awful and wide after I cut it. The hard part isn't something you can keep realigning or adjust after the initial cut...and I learned that the (get ready for it)...HARD way.

I decided to cut my own hair...by myself...shortly after it hit. Turned out pretty good, BUT I have a hard part cut usually, and I took a shot at it. Looked god awful and wide after I cut it. The hard part isn't something you can keep realigning or adjust after the initial cut...and I learned that the (get ready for it)...HARD way.

I cut my 12yo son’s hair this summer after his bangs were covering his eyes. Actually, I finished cutting it and touching it up after his sister cut it. He has since decided to grow it out. I like to think I’m his inspiration.

What’s the difference between a good hair cut and a bad one? 2 weeks

My dad was a barber, so he always cut my hair until he was unable to do it any longer. My uncle is also a barber and once my dad retired, I have always gone to my uncle. He still cuts hair by appt. Thursday-Saturday. He just turned 95 years old and went to barber school with my dad after they got home from WWII. Bob doesn’t see as well as he once did, but I just get my hair buzzed very short and get another one when it’s about 2” long. Gives me a chance to have a good visit with Bob, tell him I love him and give him a hug. Once Bob no longer cut hair I will go to my cousin Skip (Bobs son) and have him buzz me. Skip is 62 and looks like. Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top.
