Got my order in today, and realized I hadn't posted to let you guys know that tobaccopipes.com has Gawith in stock.
I wasn't able to place a large order due to some large purchases recently but I snagged a 250g box of St. James Flake and a tin each of Chocolate Flake and Bothy Flake.
It's been hard to find lately, so get it while you can.
Keep in mind on their site if you click on the tin it gives the option of tin or large box.

Man, stuff's a little spendy on that site.
Hopefully Smokingpipes doesn't follow suit

The tins are.
I got a 250g box for $39.99 though.
That seemed about right. Some of the blends were more though.

That's not too bad. I looked at Navy flake and a box was just under 50 bucks. Ouch! That's considerably more than McClelland used to go for... and they used to be the pricy spread.

I thought you smoked a pipe as well.
Or have you just not delved into the Sam Gawith brand?

I'll put it in plain engrish...
A decent Savinelli briar pipe and a 250g box of the finest pipe tobacco would run you less than a box of good cigars.
There's around 100 to 150 smokes in that box. Multiplied by ca 3x the enjoyment, PLUS you have a cool pipe that you can use to point at things, AND it doesn't stink up your dwelling anywhere near as much as a cigar. Add that all up and multiply by π (because Firedance flake smells like blackberry pie) and there's your reason for smoking a pipe.
... just do the math... :pipe:
