Intro / Pre-Smoke Judgement:

I've been wanting to get to this stick for two reasons - Ayslum & Budget. I like the brand, and I've been enjoying scouring through the budget sticks. Recently, two budget sticks were HUGE discoveries for me, and really restored the willpower and hope to continue my journey through the budget lines. I'm sure this will be another great low-priced offering to the Bargain Bums (like me), and by none other than Asylum.

Overall:

-A twang that's kinda sharp and metallic was throughout the 1/3

-Great construction and appearance (killer band!) - especially for a $3 stick

-It was lighter and not as full-flavored as most maduros, but still offered that dark maduro taste

-A little sweet

-Little bit of pepper on the retrohale

-the twang melds better or isn't as sharp around 2/3-1/2

-burned nice with no issues

Trial By Smoke Judgement:

Pretty good stick - especially for the price. I'm not sure if the twang was supposed to be there or not, but I didn't really mind it; it was only a unordinary taste (not bad). I paid $3.70ish at the B&M, but they can be cheaper in bulk, or maybe Cigarbid - I'll look there next time for more. Recommended to the Bargain Bums, Asylum fans, and really all Bums.

I have never run into these not in bulk but was curious abou them. I may have to give it a try sometime.I found them at a tobacco store that offers singles. I've been going outside the normal B&M lately to shops that are more vape/tobacco geared but have been surprised by some of their selections. Have you tried exploring these kinda shops?

I have not ben to a vape shop in years. I do tend to check out non traditional tobacco shops but with some heavy hitters in the area not many cigar shops last long unless they step up their game or fill in a niche.
