...a regular member disappears for like 3 years, then suddenly crops up again wanting to sell his cigars? Yeah, I'm that guy. :shame:

I pretty much defected to the pipe world, and I'm moving out of the country, so I need to get rid of a big chunk of my stash. I'm still keeping a couple of humis full, though. There's some good stuff, some under-the-radar sleepers, and some yard gars, and prices are negotiable - especially if you buy 'em all!

I'll go over and post a list in the trading section. I just didn't want to be too un-neighborly and thought I'd just say "hey" first. Looks like there are still a lot of familiar face here, though it seems a lot are MIA, too (Tobias? Pete?) :wavey:

Thanks! Good to see you, man. Maybe I should stop in more often. We're moving to Portugal. Something we've been thinking about for years, deciding between there and Spain, but PT won. Looking forward to a new life there, but not loving the process of planning the move with a dog etc. during a freakin' global pandemic...

First off - yes, you should stop in more often! As you know the bum is for both cigar and pipe smokers! We need more of you in here. I need more of you in here. And as you know, Portugal has internet and your pipe will travel with you. No excuses my man.

Congrats on the move. I've never been to Portugal but have always wanted to visit. Such a huge step - congrats to you and the family!

Well at least you've managed to acquire some class these past few years.
What blends have you been burning these days?

And why is a laxative not called a defeccant?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I'm a pipe blend slut. I smoked some Mac B Vanilla Cream Flake yesterday, which is one of my favorite aros. The day before that was Full VA Flake, though I've been on a Latakia kick most of the summer for some reason. That's one of the reasons I started to prefer pipes - the variety. Cigars are now just a part of the wider variety, though only 1 or 2 a month if that.

Thanks and thanks - I'll try to do that. I may be desperate for English-speaking company! And Habanos are legal there and easy to find, so.... Not sure about pipe smoking culture or shops.

By the way, it seems Puff disappeared again?

Yep, Variety. It's what appeals to me too. Also like MacB VCF tho I find no joy in most aromatics out there.
I only smoke a cigar when a pipe just will not do... like when floating down a river on a tube; prolly 6 or 8 cigars a year.

Only cigars I might consider buying right now are Aņejo 46, 8-5-8 Candelas or possibly LADC Mi Amor. Don't see those on the list.

Smoking some JF Germain Plum Cake at the mo with a glass of red wine.

Happy trails Chico. Try to hit the pipe forum more often than never.

Congrats on the move and yes you definitely need to keep in touch. You know how it is, pics or it never happened !

Puff is still there but changed the address. It's at cigarforums.net but recently had yet another huge exodus of all of the core crew.

Have been to Spain twice, but only managed a one Day visit via Auto in Portugal. You will find a lot of Brits there, they tend to speak English...and can pretty much understand American tho no matter where in the states you're from You will be a Yank to them. Don't forget to drop on by the Bum now and then.

I lived in the UK for almost 20 years, so I know how to handle those gits :-) We're going to avoid the expat scene for the most part, learn the language and go native.

I love Spain, but Portugal seems more laid back and livable somehow.
