Prelight: Oily and toothy, this little cigar smells very sweet, like sugar and chocolate. But, it’s supposed to, being a coffee-infused cigarillo. The draw is good, and although not perfectly uniform, seems to have good construction.

1/2: Since this is only a 15-20 minute smoke, I’m only doing halves instead of thirds. The first half is like a sweet mocha: chocolate, sugar, cream and coffee. The sweetened wrapper leaves a very sugary taste on my lips. There is a slight oakiness in the background.

2/2: The last half is pretty much the same, except the oak becomes more pronounced. The sweetness fades a little, and it becomes more like bitter chocolate near the nub. The cigar is burning fairly straight and there is a decent amount of smoke output given its diminutive size.

Overall: This is a great morning cigar with a cup of coffee. It is strong enough for a good get-up-and-go buzz, but is perfectly sized so it’s not too large of a dose. It is not as sweet as the Java line as well. Given the price point, if you want a small, quick morning ‘gar, pick up a tin of these, and I think you’ll be satisfied.
